Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Chris was first exposed to the world of photography by his father who taught him to use his Nikon camera. At 16, he travelled to France on a field trip to photograph the beauty, architecture, and surrounds of Paris, Bordeaux, Provence, and the Riveria. Immersed in this exquisite environment, Chris first developed his love for art, food, culture and travel. Spending the next 30 years pursuing life as a successful left-minded business entrepreneur, he re-discovered the right half of his brain through the passionate pursuit of fine art photography.
Practicing the philosophy of “less is more,” Hite’s preferred style is to capture the beauty of creation (inspired by both God and man) through tightly framed, abstract, architectural and natural photographs.
Hite says, “I’m very fortunate to be able to travel extensively on personal sabbaticals in order to indulge in the creative process of producing fine art photography from all over the world. I currently live in Southern California with my beautiful wife of 20+ years and our three wonderful, active children.”
